The career of Canadian makeup artist Greg Wencel is one of considerable accomplishment. Regarded as one of the country’s most inventive and conceptual hair and makeup artists, he has been an influential force in the beauty and fashion industry for the last ten years.
Greg’s impeccable technical skill combined with his profound understanding of the creative process has garnered him an impressive roster of international clients. He is credited for creating looks for beauty campaigns such as CoverGirl, Clairol, MAC Cosmetics, Dove, John Frieda and Marcelle cosmetics. His contribution to fashion campaigns include PORTS International, Holt Renfrew, Birks and Alfred Sung. His fresh and visionary style has been seen on runways for Escada, Ports 1961 during Mercedes Benz New York Fashion week, as well as most recently for Todd Lynn, Thomas Tait, Calla Haynes and Jean-Pierre Braganza.
